- Consider the type of party. Is your party going to be a laidback, casual gathering or a more formal affair? - Consider the length of your guest list. - Consider how far away the venue is. Chances are, most of your guests live near you. You don’t want to make anyone travel super far away from home to come to your party (and you probably don’t want to go too far either), so you should consider party venues that are local and easy to get to.
