It’s Friday night. You’ve just gotten off work or finished up some school assignments for the day, and now you’re ready to hit the town with your favorite people. You might have some go-to places already, but if you’re looking for something new and struggling to come up with ideas of things to do, we have you covered.
There are plenty of things to do in Lubbock, Texas, but here are just a few ideas to consider before you call up your friends:
- Karaoke- What could be more fun than shamelessly singing all your favorite songs at the top of your lungs with your friends? There are a few karaoke bars and other places in the area where you can sing. And if you’d rather stay in, you can just invite your friends over to do karaoke on your machine or through YouTube.
- Escape Room- Escape rooms are tons of fun. They force everyone to work together by looking for clues, picking up details, and sharing information. It can also be fun to see who in the group is most immersed in the experience and who isn’t taking it too seriously.
- Axe Throwing- If you and your friends like to compete with one another, axe throwing is a great activity. It’s fun, but it also takes skill, so you can tease or encourage each other while you all release any pent-up energy.
- First Friday Art Trail- If you love art, you’re lucky that you’re in Lubbock. Here, you can follow the First Friday Art Trail, which is a free, self-guided tour that’s open to everyone. It takes place on the first Friday of every month.
